This explains a lot of theories pertaining to the kony 2012 campaign. I like that it is unbiased and talks about the situation as a whole. I agree that the invisible children organization might have alterior motives but they succeeded in raiding awareness… Which was one of their aims with the video. From there, many have made their own conclusions and have focused on other issues they normally wouldnt have cared or known about in the first place. Personally, I am not going to buy a “cute” kony bracelet or give any money to this organization… But I will focus on organizations that I care about such as amnesty or UNICEF. And it has opened my eyes to the injustices people are facing in other parts of Africa and the world. This video has given people something to care about and sparked an interest in something greater than themselves.
